Blaze your trail – with the aspiration to always be the best.

The brand BENBARTON New York was established in the early 80s by Gerhard Hofmann during his time as marketing manager of the American media group CBS Inc.

The creation of an artist development team put him in contact with stylists, designers and photographers. The young New York fashion scene was just about to make its breakthrough around the globe.

Well-known in the US, names such as Donna Karan, Anne Klein, Geoffrey Beene, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein would soon become household names around the world.

BENBARTON drew its strength from this creative melting pot and made its way to Europe.
